Authorities say a 74-yr-old lady driving a Lexus on sideswiped an additional Lexus and a Subaru Crosstrek ahead of rear-ending a Honda CR-V, which in turn rear-ended a Scion TC.
It occurred all around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, on Route 9 in Freehold.
Masoud Salib, 61, and his 52-calendar year-old spouse Hanaa Salib, both of those of Marlboro, travellers in the Honda, have been killed.
Their son, 21-yr-previous Mark Salib, who was driving, died at the hospital on Tuesday, July 5.
The loved ones experienced been shopping for condominium materials, as Mark Salib was headed again to Rowan University, where he was finding out to turn into a physician.
The driver of the Lexus endured major accidents, and other drivers and passengers sought health care interest for insignificant accidents.
The Salib household experienced a further son, Danny Salib, who attends clinical university in Buffalo and is now the sole surviving member of his relatives.
A GoFundMe page was established up by his cousin that has elevated much more than $50,000 as of Thursday morning.
“The Salib Family dedicated their lives to their young children, church and the group,” the cousin wrote. “They have been loving, selfless, and empathetic. Their absence will for good be felt in our hearts.”
The crash remains under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Business office, Monmouth County SCART and the Freehold Township Police Office.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has facts to guide the investigative workforce is urged to get in touch with Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Workplace Detective Nicolas Logothetis at 800-533-7443, or Freehold Township Police Section Patrolman Justin Nunno at 732-462-7908.
