St. Charles men seriously injured in crash

Two St. Charles guys were being seriously wounded in a two-motor vehicle crash Tuesday near St. Charles.

The Kane County sheriff’s business office explained deputies responded about 3 p.m. to a collision at Crimson Gate and Randall roads.

A 2016 Toyota Sienna pushed by Frank Morales, 74, of Elgin created a remaining turn from southbound Randall on to eastbound Red Gate and struck a northbound 2009 Chevrolet Malibu pushed by Mason Koffenberger, 20. The Chevrolet then swerved into a targeted traffic sign pole on the passenger’s side.

Koffenberger and his passenger, 19-yr-outdated Kevin White, ended up taken to Northwestern Drugs-Delnor Hospital.

Morales, who was not hurt, was issued a quotation for failing to generate when turning still left, authorities reported.
