A jitney driver accused of killing a man and dumping his system on the aspect of a road in North Versailles was found responsible Wednesday of 1st-degree murder.
Darrel Hardy Jr., 33, of Castle Shannon, is scheduled to be sentenced by Allegheny County Widespread Pleas Choose Randal B. Todd on June 30. He faces a mandatory time period of life in prison without the need of parole.
The jury deliberated about 4-and-a-fifty percent hours above two days ahead of reaching its verdict.
Hardy was accused of killing Zack “Bud” Moore, 28, early on July 8, 2018.
